My story
Why are we so rigid?
Most of us lose basic range of motion, such as bending forward and squatting. Once we become adults, we stop playing like a child, but have also lost the functional flexibility needed to squat, lift a child off the ground, cross our legs while sitting on the floor and move freely during your favorite activities. The good news is, you can gain this back!
My name is Nathaly and I am a yoga instructor, mobility trainer and breath coach but before this I was very stiff and if I squatted, I couldn't stand up straight or dizzied. As an office worker my tension symptoms worsened but I was determined to find a solution.
I discovered yoga and what it did to me. I also learned that just poses were not enough and began to study anatomy, stress reduction, breathing, connective tissue and nerves.
I discovered that 50% of stiffness is due to our nervous system and not muscles and that postures usually demonstrate flexibility than develop it. I chose my life purpose to help people with this and support them with my experience. So I am happy to share this with you.
